Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the MR PDF mobile application (the "App") operated by MR PDF ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall prevail.

2. Description of Service

MR PDF is a PDF toolkit application that provides tools for editing, converting, signing, protecting, and managing PDF documents. All document processing is performed locally on your device. The App does not upload, store, or transmit your documents to any external server.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

3.1 Free and Premium Features

The App offers certain features for free. Additional premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions or one-time in-app purchases.

3.2 Payment

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. By purchasing a subscription or in-app purchase, you agree to pay the applicable fees as displayed in the App at the time of purchase. Prices are in the currency of your App Store account and may vary by region.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

3.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

3.5 Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for premium features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your Apple ID account will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3.6 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly. You may request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, code, and trademarks, is owned by MR PDF and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the App beyond the limited license set forth in Section 1.

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to any documents, images, or other content you process through the App ("Your Content"). Since the App processes Your Content entirely on your device, we do not access, store, or claim any rights to Your Content. You are solely responsible for the legality and appropriateness of Your Content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any output produced by the App, including document conversions, text extraction, or compression results.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MR PDF, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MR PDF and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The App uses RevenueCat for subscription management. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's terms and conditions, including the App Store Terms of Service and the Apple EULA. We are not responsible for any third-party services or their practices.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MR PDF operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
